Rooms using shared bathroooms are only six doubles/twins per suite of showers and toilets and all rooms have a sink. Home cooked meals are available in the evening as well as a residents' licenced bar. Smoking rooms available.

The hotel could not be easier to find being directly opposite to Piccadilly Station and a thirty second walk to the Metrolink or Manchester's free shuttlebus service. Secure luggage storage and a 24 hour reception come as standard and the internet cafe by reception is competitively priced. WiFi NOW FREE!!!

The hotel was in a good location in my opinion, but that would depend on your reason for visiting the area. It was nice and close to the buses, trams and trains which suited me nicely. I attended a show at the manchester club academy and the hotel was a 5 minute bus ride from the venue. I stayed for one night and thought it was quite good value. The facilities were simple and breakfast was nothing to write home about, but all in all, if I need to return to Manchester I would certainly consider returning.

To be honest this accomodation was not cheap enough(25 pound each per night) for the service provided. The room was a disgrace with the only window looking not even offering sun light. The room was dirty from the guests before us and the smell was disgusting. One of the beds was not fit to sleep in as the springs were sticking into my back. The bar was virtually non-existant and was closed most of the time. The only advantage to this hotel was that it was close to Picadilly station. This accomodation would not be classed as a hotel in Ireland. In fact the health and safety authority would close it down. Also top class hotels in Manchester were offering deals for little over £25 each per night so this was a complete rip off.
