Excellent location. but rooms are extremely small. the outlook looks good, even the stairs and elevators look nice. but totally mismatch inside the room. will recommend if u travel alone.

Location: 100% satisfied. Supermarket right in front, near bars and fast-food open until late. The closest subway station has several lines, therefore, it makes very easy going to everywhere. However, they do not make any kind of party inside the hostel and the place is very dirty. It is ok for staying a couple of nights. The staff was always nice to me. Breakfast is not amazing, but once it is free, it is better than nothing.

I guess this is possibly what can be expected in 'Paris' for the price paid, on my arrival I had to wait an hour to check in, as the room was being cleaned, the rooms were not as the photos online and could be described as dark,old and requiring renovation, the website stated that linen is provided, this is only a blanket and a sheet covering the mattress, so no cover sheet is provided and the blanket was not the cleanest looking. The staff who attended to us on arrival was excellent, but the night staff was grumpy when I complained about the water not draining from the shower tub. Breakfast was great with plenty provided, the location get a thumbs up! Close to the metro and supermarket!

Location: The hostel is easy enough to find and get to. It's very close to one of the main metro station: Republique.

Breakfast: Very very basic. Have had better breakfast in other hostels with the similar or lower price paid.

Helpfulness: Only 1 out of the 3 staff (that I've dealt with) showed more insterests in helping with ours (and others people's) queries. One actually told me the reception is DEFINITELY closed at 2am and ALL LIGHTS WILL BE SWITCHED OFF, when the reception is actually available for 24-hours. Seemed to me that he didn't want to be disturbed after hours. (I overheard) The same person also told a tenant to go check the map or internet herself when she asked him to recommend somewhere to go out for a drink/food.

Facilities: TV, shower & toilet in the room. But no chillout area. The so called dinning/chillout area is actullay in the dungeon (i.e. underground, small and basic wihtout windows). WiFi service is not as good as other hostels that I've stayed at. Only 2 out of 3 internet computers were working, and they are situated together at the reception area.

Overal: Would try to find some where else to saty next time in Paris. But keep this hostel as a backup if only no other availabilites.
