I stayed here about 2 or 3 weeks ago for 4 days. I enjoyed the inexpensive prices and the friendly and helpful ladies who ran it. Compared to other hostels I've seen, this one was extremely neat in its common areas and bedrooms. The hostel is located in an old building off to one side of Cairns downtown area. It is a quieter hostel due to the fact it is one gender, outside of the main area of town and has a firm policy on noise.

The Hostel has recently undergone a major renovation including Council compliant Fire & Safety equipment and alarm systems fitted throughout.
We have undertaken interior painting, Carpeting, kitchen and laundry facilities.

Compared to other hostels I've seen, this one was extremely neat in its common areas and bedrooms. The hostel is located in an old building off to one side of Cairns downtown area. It is a quieter hostel due to the fact it is one gender, outside of the main area of town and has a firm policy on noise. I for one enjoyed the quiet atmosphere, which allowed me to recover from day trips and diving. My two critiques are that it was a little far from the city center and that they needed more than 4 shower facilities for 60-70 girls. Other then that I had a wonderful time!
