I stayed in a 3bed private room. It was simple but roomy and clean, had a heater, large windows,mirrors, closet, tables, and a private bathroom with a shower. The breakfast was better than most hostels. The place is literally across the street from Charlottenburg S-Bahn station... not the very center but not too far out, and easy access to the S-Bahn makes things much easier. The somewhat dodgy-looking bar next door is harmless. It's perfectly safe if you're traveling with children.

Nice hotel just above strip bar and right next to S-Bahn. Nearby you can find plenty of good restaurants with a great value. The room wasn't the cleaniest, bed sheets were small and it was cold. On the other side personal is very helpful and let us check in at 5 am.
