Our South Point Hawaii Hostel offers an affordable Hawaiian vacation on a budget- go Hosteling on the Big Island of Hawaii as well as affordable backpacker opportunities to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park Kahuku Entrance and State of Hawaii Kau Forest Reserve Park.

At the end of your backpacker adventure hike in our parks and beaches, enjoy a hot shower, a hot meal you cooked in our Hawaii hostels kitchens, and a warm dry hostel bed.

We also have English and Japanese speaking staff that will go out of their way to make your stay on our Hostel the most comfortable as possible. The Hostel strives to have each one of our affordable Hawaii hostel rooms to be clean.

This is our Hawaii organic farm's employee housing converted to affordable budget Hawaii hosteling with visitors invited to enjoy volunteer farm work. There are 3 community Hawaii hostel kitchens and multiple bathroom and bathing facilities.

In the Hawaii hostel community areas, particularly in the hostel kitchens, you have to wash your pots, pans, dishes, etc.

To find South Point Hostel:

By car:

(From either Kona or Hilo airports head towards Hawaii Volcanoes National Park)

Hawaii Hostel guests coming from Hilo will pass the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park's main entrance. Hawaii Hostel guests coming from Kona will just pass the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park's Kahuku Entrance by less than one mile. Between the 69 and 70 mile road markers you will see South Point Road that only goes down to the ocean. Go down South Point Road 1.4 miles to 93-2073 South Point Road. You will see our Big Island of Hawaii South Point Hostel.

By Bus;

From Hilo or Kona take the free Kau Bus South bound, asking the driver to let you off at South Point Road; walk 1.4 miles down road to cabins on right.
