We have opened the Maxim Hostel at the Raday street 34. One minute walk from the Maxim doubles. Nice environment, easy to reach and located in downtown Budapest (metro, tram, bus). The street is filled with caffeterias, nice bars and restaurants. There is also a pharmacy, post office, and a 0-24 grocery store near by. You will find famous places at 10 minute walking distance any direction from the hostel (National museum, Museum of Applied Arts, Markethall, Corvinus University, Liberty bridge, Danube side).

By walking over the Liberty bridge you will find yourself at the world famous Gellert bathand on the Gellert hill there is the hungarian liberty statue and the Citadella. From there with an easy walk you can reach the castle district: (Mathias Church, Fishermen's Bastion, National Gallery, Museum of Military History, Alexander Palace ). From the hills of Buda the beutifull panorama of Pest can be seen: (Chain bridge, Parlament, Hungarian Academy of Science).

And what is the hostel like?

We try to recall the feeling of the 1920-30's years. The living room is like a caffeteria from those good old days. While you are staying in our hostel you can sleep in 4 and 6 bedded dormitory rooms and in 2 bedded private's of course.

Taste the hungarian drinks in our bar where everything costs 1 euro.

You are welcome to join us for some breakfast every morning and if you would like to taste the traditional hungarian cusine we wait you with coocked dinner every day as well. Also if you need we can make your trip more comfortable by picking you up at the airport. Our driver will wait for your arrival to escort you to the hostel. We hope we can make your stay a very nice experience in Budapest!
