It was an excellent experience at The Best Inn Guesthouse in the city of Kolkata. My positive experience started since the time I checked-in and was greeted by a smiling young executive at the Desk. I was briefed in details as regards the places I could visit and the Restaurants I could dine at. The gentleman at the desk was very fluent in speaking English.

A beautiful boutique Guesthouse located within minutes walk from Rabindra Sadan Metro Station, Victoria Memorial Gardens, Saint Paul's Cathedral, Birla Planetorium, Forum Shopping Mall, Inox Cinema Multiplex, Homeland Mall & the corporate offices on AJC Bose Rd., Chowringhee Rd., Sarat Bose Rd., Camac Street, Park Street, Loudowne Street etc. Mother's House is aproximately 10 minutes ride in a Taxi.

All our rooms are newly furnished with modern furniture. All rooms have Airconditioning, Flat Screen T.V. (Cable), Telephone, Internet Connectivity, Ceiling Fan, Bedside Lamps, Work Desk, Attached Private Bathrooms with shower curtains, health faucet, complimentary soap, shampoo and fresh towells.

Housekeeping, Room Service, Laundry Service & Daytime Front Desk is available.

Guests staying at The Best Inn may enjoy their morning walk's at the nearby Victoria Memorial Gardens (10 minutes walk). Buggy Rides (carriage pulled by horses) are also available just ouside the gates of Victoria Memorial Gardens for guests who are adventurous..

Several Cafes like Suger & Spice (Harish Mukherjee Rd.), Acqua Java (Elgin Road), Cafe Coffee Day (near Forum Mall) & Restaurants like LA-Zeez, Gupta Brothers, Oh Calcutta (at Forum Mall), Mezze (Lansdowne Rd.), Little Italy (Camac Street), Mainland China (Gurusaday Road), Mc Donald's & KFC at Park Street are all reachable within ten minutes via Taxi or Metro.

It was an excellent experience at The Best Inn Guesthouse in the city of Kolkata. My positive experience started since the time I checked-in and was greeted by a smiling young executive at the Desk. I was briefed in details as regards the places I could visit and the Restaurants I could dine at. The gentleman at the desk was very fluent in speaking English.
I feel that this boutique guesthouse has definitely carved out its own niche clientele since during my stay at some of the other cities in India I didn’t come across any other Guesthouse that came close to matching the standards set by this facility in terms of:-
(a) The Interiors - which have been done very tastefully keeping in mind the needs of the modern day travelers like myself who appreciate having a nice clean ambience;
(b)The Service - which I found to be very personalized though I would be happier if they has an inhouse restaurant; &
(c) The Location - which without any doubt is one of the most centrally located in terms of its proximity to the happening areas in Kolkata (gardens, restaurants and even Mother Teresa’s house are all within a few minutes drive) and its connectivity with the underground Rabindra Sadan Metro Station.
