How about a complete break from all the hassle of the cities? You can refresh yourself by opting for a home stay in a little village just outside Udaipur known as Sisarma. Here you can stay at Mountain Ridge. The property is around the corner from Udaipur and stands on a ridge with stupendous views of forests and meadows encircled by mountains

There are three very modern, well-appointed double or twin guest rooms and two suites, all of which are en-suite and with balconies and wonderful views, particularly at sunset. There is a swimming pool, peace and quiet, and lots of fresh air. Yet it is only 15 minutes from historic sites and the market.

This place is ideal for trekking and relaxation, a massage or indulging in hobbies such as reading, sketching and painting. Each bedroom has a balcony overlooking the gardens or the valley and mountains.

The price we ask includes breakfast. For a little extra we can prepare a substantial evening meal / barbeque.

Our family enjoys the interaction with visitors who come as strangers and leave as friends.

Leave Udaipur via Chetak Circle OR Brahmpol Gate, and head for Mullatalai Circle, then head west along main Mullatalai road. Stay on this road up to Rampura Circle (avoid fork for Monsoon Palace). Turn left - this lane takes you to Sisarma. Cross the bridge and pass through the village. Mountain Ridge turning is by Loga Lal the Chaiwallah, but you can ask anybody.
