only drawback is crowded and busy....not a place to relax....

We took Merapi as the name of our hotel because of it's beauty, strength and power. MERAPI HOTEL is located at Sosrowijayan area nearby Malioboro the main and legendary street down town of Yogyakarta where is known as Tourist Village since 1970's.

Great location, rooms were okay, good value for money. Very friendly staff. I also recommend Bintang restaurant which is owned by the same people - great food and beer excellent value and live music.
