Welcome to Familia Gil Lemes. It's a beautiful and old house built at the second half of XIX century. In 1925 was remodelled under the influence of the eclectic style, attaining greater beauty and elegance. It is a colonial house with sumptuous tile decoration.

Familia Gil Lemes is a warm and friendly house that welcomes travellers from all over the world. We’ve been renting since 1997 so we have experience in the industry and know what travellers value and need during their stay.

Guests can read a nice book as well as enjoy breakfast and dinner in our colonial courtyard with a gorgeous garden. They can relax, too, in rocking chairs amid flourishing plant life.

We have an old, nice and secure safe for valuables and private garage inside the house where guests can put their cars. Guests who are interested in practicing piano lessons can do on our old piano.

We organise several trips and tours such as:

1. Bike rides to the beach

2. Horseback riding to be in contact with nature and visit the beautiful waterfalls and houses of peasants who live in the area, where you can see large sugar cane plantations as well as the method of preparing the juice of sugar cane

3. Snorkelling and scuba diving with a professional diver in beautiful coral reefs

4. Trips to the old city with a professional to know about architecture and history

It's important future guests confirm by phone their reservation at least one day before their arrival

Familia Gil Lemes rent one triple room available with a comfortable single and double bed. Bed sheets and linen are provided and the room comes with security lock, reading lights and bathroom with 24hr hot shower. The room is also equipped with air-conditioning unit.

From the Airport: There is no airport in my city. The tourists that visit my town come from main airports in Cuba like in Havana, Varadero and Holguín.

By Bus: In my country, VIAZUL (a company) are engaged in the transportation of tourists by bus. I live only 5 blocks from the bus station so it’s very easy to find us via walking or taking a taxi for 3 CUC. I always send to my future guests a map showing how to go to my house assuming my clients arrive by bus. Otherwise, someone in my family will go personally to the bus station to pick up a customer after coordination with him. Our future guests can send us an email or telephone call regarding their arrival time to the bus station and we will pick them up there, so they don't have to worry about finding us.
