I stayed at Bordonaro 98 from September 12-19,2009. It is a great apartment. Entrance on the street side is narrow, next to the restaurant (but so are all doors there). You have two stairs to walk up to an iron door (key provided) and then down the hall is the apartment on the right, just before the next stairs. You enter in a living room with a sofa, kitchen table, TV etc. Kitchen is semi-open. Bedroom is upstairs (open to living room, vide type, great bed!).

Über Apartment Bordonaro
Bezaubernde Wohnung gelegen in einem Gebäude aufgestellt in der historischen Mitte von Cefalu nur 20m vom Strand, 200m von Piazza Duomo. Ideale Position für das Besuchen von Cefalu eins der schönsten Position in Sizilien. gute Position in der die Straße folgend wird auf Fußgängergebrauch begrenzt und wird mit einigen herrlichen Gaststätten gezeichnet. Parken fand bei 400 Metern, die das Builing in 3 Wohnungen alle völlig Ausrüstung mit Luftzuständen und Fernsehapparat geteilt wird - nur der obere Fußboden ist mit Terrasse, die anderen Wohnungen mit Balkon sind.

A)
Die Nizzawohnung, die am ersten Stockwerk mit Balkonseeansicht-livingroom mit Küche gelegen sind und das doppelte Bett-Badezimmer des Sofas mit duschen-ein großen Raum ohne Türen mit Bett-doppeltem Schlafzimmer der Kojen mit Badezimmer und duschen nur mit einem Dachfenster.
B)
Elegante Wohnung gelegen am Fußboden 2 mit Balkonseeansicht-livingroom, Küchebereich mit SofadoppeltBett-badezimmer mit Duschenraum mit doppeltem Bett und Badezimmer mit Dusche.
C)
Fußboden der Wohnung 3 mit einer fantastischen Terrasseseeansicht, kleinen einem Küchebereich und einem Livingroombadezimmer mit duschen-doppeltem Schlafzimmer -

I stayed at Bordonaro 98 from September 12-19,2009. It is a great apartment. Entrance on the street side is narrow, next to the restaurant (but so are all doors there). You have two stairs to walk up to an iron door (key provided) and then down the hall is the apartment on the right, just before the next stairs. You enter in a living room with a sofa, kitchen table, TV etc. Kitchen is semi-open. Bedroom is upstairs (open to living room, vide type, great bed!). Completely renovated and very clean. Balcony is at the front overlooking the street. It has a table and two chairs on it. It is really only 25m to the small beach and the great restaurant there. Lots of Alimentari around for your daily shopping and the Piazza del Duomo (the main square) is a 5-7 minutes walk (uphill though but very doable). Perfect location and perfect apartment for a single or couple.
The only "complaint" I had is the shower. Bathroom itself is big enough, with all what you will need (including washing machine), but the shower is simply too small. I am not a very big guy, but I had problems getting in and out of the shower through the doors. Simply to narrow. If you are heavy-set, you won't get in. While showering I was afraid I would knock out the plastic sides with my elbows, turning around. The drain seemed to be stuck with something (hairs?). Water was not draining quickly enough. I could not shower for more than 2 or 3 minutes without risking the water to overflow and flooding the bathroom floor. Plus the shower handle was coming off the wall. Water pressure was low too, so just a miserable stream. It all looked very cheap. That really needs to be fixed! My advice? Get rid of the bidet (who uses those anyway, except our French friends maybe) and install a bigger (and better!) shower. This is the only minor point in the apartment though.
However, if that is fixed, or you can live with that, then this is a perfect apartment for a reasonable price in beautiful Cefalu.
P.S. be aware that garbage and empty bottles from the restaurants in the street are being picked up between 7-8am.....But that is what you get at a prime location.

How to arrive:
By Car: From Palermo airport 'Falcone Borsellino' follow the indication Motorway A19 (green signs) Palermo-Catania. Pass Palermo and continue the motorway direction Catania-Messina. After 50km. you come to a point where the motorway splits up in direction Catania and Messina-Cefalù. Take the direction Messina-Cefalù'. Pass the Toll (0,80 ). Take the exit Cefalù. Turn to the right on the national road (SS113) direction Cefalù'. The historical town of Cefalù' is closed for traffic, so please do not enter by car. For check in and the keys of your apartment, please come to our office in Via Matteotti 20, Cefalù, tel. +39 0921 92 50 60. Our office is open from Monday-Saturday from 09:00-13:00 and 16:00-19:30, . If you arrive after 19:30h, please call the office before to advice.
For free parking: at the beginning of Cefalù, you see on the right an AGIP petrol station and on the left Bar/Hotel St. Lucia, turn directly to the right. Follow the road, direction Messina (2km). At the cross you turn right, again direction Messina. After 50m at the Pizzeria Girotondo turn right, direction Hotel Pescatore. Follow the road to the left and continue the road. When you come to Hotel Pescatore (on your right), turn left direction PORTO. Please park your car down at the PORTO (harbour).
By train : From Palermo airport with train or bus until Palermo main rail station. From Palermo rail station there are many trains to Cefalu, almost one every hour.
