The palace

The building 'Magenta 62' is a noble house in the neoclassical style originally built by lombard craftsmen on the project, it seems, by the same Piermarini.

The client was a noble stranger of whom, today we’ve lost historical tracks.

It seems that he was a patron sponsor of the Convent of the Little Bells (convento Delle Stelline) and devoted in Santa Maria Delle Grazie, in fact the palace is only twenty meters far from the monument;

The construction is dated (by Robert Ribaudo architect, urban planner of the Milano town-hall ) in the first half of the seventeenth century.

Between the years 1966 and 1968 was subject to heavy maintenance, in conjunction of which has been built behind another building, the garages have been excavated, and has formed the beautiful garden at the frieze of the two bodies of the building.

The facade still has a rich portal architraved, flanked by pilasters of granite, two balconies: the first with a mistilinea plant, with elegant wrought-iron railings and the other, neo-classical, linear, with a rich era concrete columns . The windows on the facade are contoured of variously shaped plaster, standing out along with two smaller balconies at sides, with decorations and iron railings.

In this context, and inspired by the extreme closeness of the Museum of the Last Supper, we wanted to dedicate all of our suites to the artists of the Italian Renaissance.

From the Airport of Linate

Take bus 73 departing from the piazza of the airport and exit at the end of the line, in piazza San Babila; take the Metropolitana MM1 in the direction of Fiera/Rho, exit to the stop for Cadorna Triennale, turn into piazza Cadorna, look to turn into via Carducci and continue till the first traffic light, crossing in quick succession before V.Monti and immediately after Corso Magenta, turn right into Corso Magenta, Capital Suites-Magenta 62 Palace awaits you at number 62.

From the Airport of Malpensa

Take shuttle train “Malpensa Express” and reach the head of the line at Milano Cadorna, turn into piazza Cadorna, turn into via Carducci and continue till the first traffic light, crossing in quick succession before V.Monti and immediately after Corso Magenta, turn right into Corso Magenta, Capital Suites-Magenta 62 Palace awaits you at number 62.

By car:

from the northern highway (A4 Torino/Venezia; A9 Como/Chiasso; A8 Varese), after the tollbooth, continue in the direction of Milan and take the exit Milano Certosa, go to the end of viale Certosa, cross two crossings and merge into corso Sempione, at the end of the corso turn right on via Canova, at the end of the via turn right in via Pagano, after 200 m turn left in via Monti until reaching the crossing with corso Magenta, turn right and reach number 62, where you are welcomed at Capital Suites-Magenta 62 Palace.

From highway A1 (Bologna), after the tollbooth, turn into the exit of piazzale Corvetto, turn right and you will arrive at piazzale Bologna, turn left through via Bacchiglione continue 100 m and turn right on corso Lodi. After 700 m, reaching porta Romana, turn left on via Filippetti (inner beltway), continue along viale Beatrice d’Este, viale Gian Galeazzo, viale d’Annunzio, viale Papiniano, viale of Porta Vercellina, arriving at piazzale Baracca, turn right, where at number 62 you are welcomed to Capital Suites-Magenta 62 Palace.

From highway A7 (Genova): after the tollbooth, turn into the western tangential in the direction of Venice, exit at Milano Certosa and continue as indicated above.

By train:

Arriving at the Central Station of Milan, or at the station Porta Garibaldi, take the Metropolitana MM2 in the direction of Abbiategrasso and exit to the stop for Cadorna Triennale, turn into piazza Cadorna, look to turn into via Carducci and continue till the first traffic light, crossing in quick succession before V.Monti and immediately after Corso Magenta, turn right into Corso Magenta, Capital Suites-Magenta 62 Palace awaits you at number 62.
