It gives you the comfort of the private room but it's really cheap ! Now in the new location via Angelo Poliziano, on the Colle Oppio, very very close to the Colosseum !
It's clean, nice, coloured, easy going..

Great restaurants and good pubs, supermarkets, bakeries in the area. Every service you need for your vacation.
ApeLatina is 100 mt. from the underground, 300 mt. from the Colosseum, very close to the most important archaeological sites, this area is full of shops and restaurants.

Perfectly located rooms with kitchen facilities without an oven, but basically all you need for the usual supplies. The location is a few hundred meters to the Colosseo and you have several things like supermarkets, restaurants and things you need around in a nice neighberhood. The rooms are air conditioned with nice furnitures and you find all you need. Andrea was really helpful and kind and helped us out with getting around. We would definitely recommend the accomodation and will come back there next time.

Ape Latina is a good choice for your stay in Roma. I can only recommend. Relative big rooms, modern interieur, clean bathrooms, very good breakfest in the Snackbar in front of the hostel- croissant or another sweet cake and cafe or capuccino. And this hostel offers also internet free. Ape latina is near of the subway station Manzoni- the red line, or bus 3 or 810 to Colosseum. The street Via Emanuele Filiberto has a little bit chaotic numbering of the houses- but the hostel is in a big house n. 130 in front of Snack bar, near a big crossing with a villa.

Our comment for Rudy B&B:
(+) Very good Italian breakfast, friendly, English speaking, luxury, well furnished, large private bathroom, security very good with double lock, safety box, very comfortable bed, fast internet connection, lift available.
(-) breakfast a few blocks away but very good Italian coffee & pastries, room heater was not working.
