dormitorys seem to be nice, single room is quite nice but situation between bathroom and kitchen very noisy and too bright since glassdoor. Couch doesn't make a good bed.
Ecology not a big issue. Lights and computer are on all nicht long. Shower should be charged extra (like in all hotels nowadays). Television absolutely not necessary,same goes for labtop in single room
Nice hosts, place nicely and with love furnished and decorated.

I've never stayed in a hostel like this before! You walk into this beautiful old building, take the elevator upstairs und enter a well-designed, modern apartment. an entrance hall, two rooms, a kitchen and a bathroom. The atmosphere is very neat because there are 9 people staying there at the most and you get to know all of them (all from different countries) and share a room with them. The staff ist very friendly and you can ask them everything about vienna and the best sight-seeing spots. They speak English, Austrian and Spanish fluently.
The location is also very great because you are not too far from one of the main shopping streets (Mariahilfestr.) and the city center.
I had a wonderful stay in Vienna and can only recommend this hostel!

The hostel is very clean but quite far from the city centre (anyway, there is a bus that takes you directly there). We have liked it and recommend it.
