We understand your frustration, but it should be noted that we corresponded extensively regarding your booking. Domus Elisa changed its named to Bar Dell'Artista Accommodation (Domus Elisa is not listed on Travellerspoint anymore), which is why the name of the property you stayed at was different to what you booked. However, you were offered a refund prior to your stay by the hotel, which you did not take.
'Reception' is a small messy pub. Breakfast is 1 Croissant and coffee/juice. Shower is tiny, couldnt sit in the bath. Electrical fittings were loose and exposed, no working TV. Rooms neat but ours wasnt clean. Close to old town and is pretty central (we walked everywhere). Pretty quiet neighbourhood. Free use of the owner's PC for internet, as he runs the B&B and the pub downstairs all by himself. Would recommend only if on a budget.

Me and my family visited Rome for a weekend. We really liked this clean and friendly place. The breakfast vas also generous.

Domus Elisa is very central (about 400m from the Termini station) and an easy walk to the Colosseum/ Pantheon. The hosts are especially friendly and helpful. The facilities are clean and comfortable. Breakfast consists of coffee/tea, yoghurt, cereal, toast, crossaints and condiments. We would recommend this to anyone going to Rome!

Very friendly and helpful people. Beautifully clean. Nice rooms. Comfortable. Great location for sightseeing. Great value. Higly recommended!
