Two Ducks Hostel in Rome is a safe and quiet hostel to spend your days. It's just a few steps from the Termini , Rome's central train station, and from the main underground and bus station.
We host young people from all over the world because we like to discover the world. We offer our guests all the facilities you'll need to enjoy a pleasant stay in Rome. At your disposal you'll find a warm and fully equipped kitchen to cook quick lunches and eat in good company.

Important Note:
We accept just the reservation for at least 3nights during Christmas and New Year's Eve period (only stays from Dec 30-Jan 2)
Cancellation policy:
You should give us 72 hours notice of your cancellation by email or fax. Failing to do so will result in a one-night charge on your card.
We don't accept phone cancellations!!!!!!
- starting from the 1st of January 2011 Rome City Council will ask for a overnight accommodation tax on tourist service in the city.
This fee, 2 euros per night (10 nights maximum) per person (with the exception of children up to 10 years and in Rome residents), will be asked to anyone staying in every overnight accommodation inside Rome's boundaries.
The fee, not included in hotel rate, must be paid cash at check in time.

WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER STAYED. After approximately 47 cities in 14 countries I have had some bad accommodation, but this was the worst.
My mother and I were charged an additional 20 euro for our 5 nights stay, not much you can do about it when they will keep your deposit and you will be left without a room.NO INTERNET ACCESS IN ROOMS, had to walk up 4 flights of stairs and sit on hallway floor to access internet.
We wanted to find a different hotel and cancel 3 nights, but could not find anything else affordable at the last moment. Our last 3 nights we were put in another building they use, which also had NO INTERNET ACCESS. I had to walk 5 minutes to the other building and hope that someone was available to let me in as our key did not open the door.
HORRIBLE SERVICE... The staff just don't care and wouldn't help my mother to start the stove.
You have to put a fork it the socket where a handle should be.I would not stay here again. I would pay double to stay somewhere else, you will enjoy your holiday MUCH more, trust me !!!

I can't recommend you that hostel.
The staff is not very friendly and if you have a problem they don't care. The rooms are disgusting and only useful if you bring your own sleeping bag. If you don't bring it with you you have to be afraid to be bitten by bed bugs.
I felt unsecure in that hostel because with closed door my cell phone and my money disappeared. The fact that the staff is Romanian and Russian it was not always possible to find a solution for a problem because they neither unsterstood Italian nor English.
At your arrival you also have to pay 10 € disposition for they key. It's seldom that you get that 10€ back because they give you cheap keys that break easily. Thereby they make also profit because the keys cost aproxiamtely 1€.Look for another one !
This was the worst hostel I have ever been, they have bad service, they didnt respect our booking, they have bugs in their rooms and they bite us so bad.
We told the recepcionists and they didnt care.
They also moved us to a building 4 blocks away from the reception where there is anybody to complain to.
I would never recommend this to anyone, it is really very bad.
