The owner was very friendly and helpful however, she was not expecting us as we had booked the previous day and her son had not checked her email account. We stayed the first night and the next morning were told we had to stay somewhere else for the next night and although it was only down the road it was still an upheaval (we did not receive any discount for the inconvenience). Breakfast was excellent though.

Welcome to Het Colettientje guesthouse. We are situated right in the city centre; near the Beguine gardens. Our guesthouse is tastefully decorated with antiques, paintings and souvenirs from all over the world. You will be welcomed with a Belgian beer or an Italian espresso coffee. Parking is available in front of the house or for an additional fee of 5 Euro per day in the garage.

We have two double rooms on the second floor and one double room under the attic with a reading corner and television.

Shared bathroom with bath and wash basin.

The house has a beautiful garden that is ideal for relaxing. There are seats and a picnic table for your enjoyment.

We provide the following services:

- Free pick up at the train station

- Two bicycles available for rent 7 euro per day

- Free parking in front of the house or in the garage for an

additional charge

- City map

- Welcome drink

We do not accept credit cards, only cash payments!

The Owner Mrs Maria Masyn, Ms Maria was born in Bruges.

After her marriage, she worked and lived in Italy for over 25 years with her husband. After her husband died she returned to her home town to be near her family. She loves to take care of people and you will find some Italian atmosphere her home.

Maria was very keen to inform us about where to eat, how to get around and was overall extremely helpful. Great host.

Maria was very warm and welcoming. Her home is stylish, comfortable and very clean, and the location in a quiet street suited us well - a 10 minute walk from the station, and maybe 15 minutes from the main square.
No ensuite available, but the bathroom is close, spacious and very clean. Maria cooked a delicious breakfast for us, and was able to suggest places to visit and things to do.
Highly recommended.

What else can i say about Marie and her lovely B&B Het Colettientje apart from absolutely amazing. This has by far been some of the best service i have received while traveling. The owner, Marie is a fantastic host and makes your stay as enjoyable as possible with a great breakfast when you wake up. She even sits you down and tells you about Brugges and what to do while you are there. the B&B is located 5 minutes walk from the train station and 10 minutes walk from the center of town. An added bonus to staying with Marie is that Brugges is wonderful place to visit.

Maria`s house is located in very quiet area, so if you are looking for restful night this is something for you. She is very kind and happy person, speaks some English, fluently Italian, French and Dutch, so communication is brilliant;] we went downstairs about 10 in the morning and she was still happy to serve homemade continental breakfast. Recommended.
