The staff in Passage hostel is very nice and it is situated in the city centre of Bruges. But unfortunately the bathroom facilities are small, too open (guests of the pub use the same toilet than the hotel guests - no intimacy while brushing your teeth etc) and there is no washing basin with the toilet in the one floor.

Willkommen in der Passage, Jügendherberge/Hotel, seit 13 Jahren schon die Nummer 1 in 'Let's Go', empfohlen von 'Rough Guide', 'Lonely Planet', 'Frommers' und 'Guide du Routard'
Die Passage ist wo man sein muss für ihren Charakter, ihre Persönlichkeit, ihre wunderbare kosmopolitische Atmosphäre und typische belgische Küche. Sie ist auch die meist zentrale Jügendherberg in Brügge.
Alle Zimmer sind kürzlich von neuen meubliert und jedes Zimmer in anderen Stil. Ein Aufenthalt in der passage gibt das Gefühl durch die Zeit zu reisen.
Die passagez widersspiegelt die brüggischen Werte: zentraler Ort, friedlich und ein Aufenthalt weg von dieser Welt.

The staff in Passage hostel is very nice and it is situated in the city centre of Bruges. But unfortunately the bathroom facilities are small, too open (guests of the pub use the same toilet than the hotel guests - no intimacy while brushing your teeth etc) and there is no washing basin with the toilet in the one floor. In addition, people using the showers can smell and hear what people are doing in the toilet!
Another thing that annoyed me was the missing possibility to lock the room, especially because the pub guests are able to enter the sleeping rooms.
To end with a positive point: The staff is able to speak several languages, which is great for travellers from all over the world.
