NicoleS. I lived in Casa Agua Canela for three months with another friend from the States and we absolutely LOVED this place!! My friend was studying at the local university and I was on a long vacation! This apartment is very clean and the owners/hosts are very respectable and very helpful! We rented the largest room and the accommodations were excellent. The hosts treated us like family! We remember this place fondly as well as the friends we made there. In other rooms of the apartment, there were girls from Europe and a couple girls from the States. One night I got locked out, forgot my key and so I used the intercom system hoping someone was still up to let me and my brother in, and sure enough they came to greet us at the door! The son that lives here, David is also very friendly and outgoing and is fluent in English. The owners of this apartment invited all the tenants to dinner and we were always welcome to do our laundry on the rooftop and use the computer/tv in the living room. This apartment came highly recommended to us and in my opinion, you will love your stay too!! It is within walking distance to the local hotspots such as Papaya Net! I will stay here next time I visit Quito!!
becky_rend Thank you so much for a lovely stay! Even though my spanish was awful, everyone was very accomodating and friendly, and their kindness in letting me use the internet for free was very much appreciated! A clean, comfy room, and a location perfectly inbetween the historical and new centres of Quito Only bad point was the one shower and toilet for the whole hostel, though it didnt cause too much hassle thanks again, Becky

marlis Good location, nice and clean room, good bed, everything looks new. very friendly und helpful staff.Restaurants near by,quiet at night. will go back to this place when I'm again in Ecuador
Candwalley A nice, basic accommodation, with very friendly and polite owners (though they knew less English than I know Spanish, making communication difficult). The breakfast was good and I have no complaints about the room. Unfortunately, the building is old and echoey due to the high ceiling and tiles floors. There is no curfew and you need to buzz in and wait for someone to come and open the gates to get in at night. Some of the cleintelle were extremely inconsiderate, making lots of noise and even watching Friends on the TV at full blast till 4am (too much for me to bear).

delgarde Was quite happy with Blue House - location is convenient to the restaurants and bars without being so close as to be noisy. And free WiFi is definitely a big plus...
