libwhitty The Keylany is an excellent budget option for Aswan. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the location is convenient, and the breakfast is great. The staff is also really friendly and helpful. We ended up extending our stay because it was so nice.

adam.price Great location overlooking the Nile and Elaphantine Island. One down side, as with most river side hotels in Egypt, the noise can be a problem for light sleepers. The 4am prayer call is something to enjoy, a symphony in surround sound. The hotel is minutes walk from restaurants and Nubian Museum (highly recommended). The breakfast was fine, mostly local cuisine. Beds were comfy.
