Due to increasing demand from our customers, we are trialing Debit Card payment methods this month.
When a customer makes a booking, they can now pay using Switch and Solo (UK), Laser (Ireland) and JCB (France).
As part of the confirmation process, Customers using Debit Cards are told they must re-confirm their reservation with you by phone if they are to arrive after midday. If the customer does not contact you before noon, then you should cancel the booking, and re-sell the beds.
Unlike with Credit cards, you will not be able to charge the customers who do not show up. In order for us to gauge the success of the trial, please inform us of no-shows where no contact has been made.
In the event that you do not wish to accept debit card bookings, notify your WRI customer services rep and we will remove this facility for your property immediately.
Given the age range of our typical customer, we believe there is a potential for a number of Debit Card bookings in the future.
At the end of October we will assess the success or failure of this test period. At that stage we may refine the terms based on your feedback, or remove the functionality altogether.

Arrival times are of the most importance to us. Please advise Hostel Quetzal immediately of any changes in your travel plans.
Private rooms are held for 3 hours after estimated arrival time in high season.
Dorm reservations are held for 4 hours after estimated arrival time in high season.

It was a very nice hostel. We enjoyed staying there. The owners are very friendly and you get free delicious breakfast and dinner. Everybody is sitting together and you will have a very good time.

My friend and stayed one night and the people were all lovely. The price was right. But take a blanket. We froze at night. Otherwise it was a great place to meet travelers.

Definitely value for money. Clean, safe, with good facilities. Free breakfast too. It is a bus ride from the beach but the bus runs frequently and is pretty cheap (7.50 MN)

Don't get caught with the "private bathroom" scam. You have to walk down a corridor and through the dorm where people are sleeping to get to your private bathroom........ Plus rude service.
Plus the rooms look nothing like the pictures. So we end up staying at this amazing hotel called Girasoles which was 2 blocks and to top it all off, it was $10 cheaper.
