The area surrounding Monterrey, varies radically in its natural resources from kilometers of deserts to tall forests, offering a great spectrum of opportunities for recreational activities like hiking, rock climbing, MTB, caving, canyoneering and hot springs to name some.

But outdoor recreation is not the only thing that Monterrey has to offer. It is a city which provides all the attractions of any cosmopolitan city from impressive museums, cultural events and active night life.

El AguAcAte welcomes you, gives you the info and tours that you need to experience the different activities around this friendly city.

2- Walk Right (west) one block to the corner

4- Take bus #126 “Huasteca/Fama2” or #130 “SanPedro”

5- Get off the bus at Av. V.Carranza (south) and 15 de Mayo (west).

6- Walk Right (west) one block on 15 deMayo.

Les escribo para comentarles ciertas cosas que a diario me pregunto, sobre alguna verdades que busca el viajero, lo más importante no es el cuarto, o la cama, o el baño o los espacios; es la familia que encuentras en un lugar determinado, La familia es aquel sitio donde uno deja de ser un viajero érrate. Porque esta con tu familia, prestada pero es tu familia.

Este hostal, es bien especial, te encantararas con muchas historias que te ayudaran ser un humano mejor, en donde te encontraras con viajero que se quedan una eternidad, y es tan acogedle que te cuidan cuatro bellas princesas caninas y dos activas tortugas, donde el surrealismo mágico de sus paredes pintadas de ballenas te saludaran, como detenidas en el tiempo.

Y en su cocina encontraras una foto de Frida, que te acompañara, y con los comensales a las orillas de una ronda de tacos comunales que solo se entiende por el picante de sus sueños generales, grandes escaladores que te llevaran a conocer las venas de nuestra América oculta. Esto es vivir con mi familia.
