Daily and weekly rooms for rent in a private flat.This place is a typical modernista house located in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, the historic centre of the city, a few meters from Las Ramblas and La Catedral. It is located in a commercial area with a very diverse gastronomic and leisure offer. It is on Portaferrisa Street, a very popular, pedestrian and very crowded one during the day but very quiet, noiseless and extremely safe at night.
Vrabac is a small, friendly and charming house. We have double or twin rooms fully equipped. For the shared bathroom rooms there is one bathroom every two rooms and we take extremely care about cleaning and hygiene. Service, bed linen, towels and breakfast are included. You also have the possibility to get special breakfasts or light home made meals to order or take away.
Vrabac is a Guesthouse, not a Hotel. However our philosophy is to give you all the facilities of a hotel but to make feel you welcome, safe and well cared like at home. Vrabac is a place with a relaxed and quiet atmosphere where you will feel comfortable and restful.
Vrabac is a tolerant and open minded place. Gay friendly.
Vrabac is the ideal place for a short or a long-term stay. Perfect for people who want to feel free and want to taste the life of a Barcelona citizen but also want to be carefully attended. Either for a professional or for a holiday stay, you will feel at home. For all these reasons, it is one of the most convenient places to stay in the city.
Room fee includes: breakfast, afternoon tea or coffee, bed linen, towels and cleaning service. Special services upon request: dinner 25 EUR/person/day, personalized city guided tours.

Room 'Basic Double Bed Private Ensuite' has a private bathroom but it is NO ENSUITE (bathroom is for private use -not shared- but it is outside the room).
Room 'Standard Double Bed Private Ensuite' has a private bathroom Ensuite (bathroom inside the room)
Room 'Deluxe Double Bed Private' has a private bathroom Ensuite (bathroom inside the room)
Room 'Standard Double Bed Private' has shower/basin facilities inside the room but it has a shared toilet.
Room '3 Bed Standard Private Ensuite' has a private bathroom but it is No Ensuite ( bathroom is for private use -not shared- but it is outside the room).

Location is by far the best! Centre of the city and 5 min walk to both Placa de Catalunya and Liceu stations. Close to bars, restaurants and cafes and not to mention abundant stores for shopping.
The interior coordination of the room, dining room and other parts of the guesthouse was beautiful. Loved the candle lit breakfast in the beautifully decorated dining room. The downside of our room were the lights; we didn't have much light and it somehow did not turn on after our last switch off so we only had one light bulb by our bed and the light in the shower room (which was very dark also).
Breakfast was reasonable, but with the price paid, it could do better with variety?...but food was all you can eat, so there's no problem with the amount.
With no elevator, it was a workout for us to take our heavy suite cases up to our room (we stayed on the 4th floor; the guest house is from 2nd - 4th floor) and walking up the stairs after a long day of Barcelona walking, it was a little painful...but if you like exercise, its there for free of charge! For elderly guests, it might be too much workout.
People were flexible and friendly.
Overall, a fun stay with fabulous location.

Vrabrac is great. The staff are really helpful, the location is spot on and the breakfast was brilliant. We had a great stay and would definately go back.
Our stay at Vrabac was great. We had some issues due to the volcanic ash but the staff were really helpful and were waiting for us when we arrived. Our room was clean and spacious and the bathroom had everything we needed. The breakfasts were fantastic and even included a freshly boiled egg which was a nice treat. There was also free internet and lots of books on Barcelona and Spain in a few languages which was really handy. It's a really cool place to stay and we'll definitely be coming back.

We were absolutely amazed by the warm welcoming, elegant interior and the perfect location - just off La Rambla. The room facing the street was quite noisy at night, but we did not come to Barcelona to sleep (earplugs did the job). Our room was on the top floor, our heavy bags were carried upastairs when we arrived. Breakfast was really nice as well as free tapas on the first night. Candles, flowers, antique furniture and dimmed lights created the unforgettable atmosphere. Internet connection did not work in our room (hence the four stars for facilities), but we could use the computer in the lounge anytime. When it rains in Barcelona, it usually pours - we found spare umbrellas quite usefull.

My sister and i had the best time here. They were all so friendly and helpfull, the flat is calm, clean and has a lovely spanish style . Location perfect, although so close to Las Ramblas we couldnt have felt safer or more integrated in this fascinating old area.Can't wait to get back.

A very pleasant guesthouse in the old center of Barcelona, with an unique ambiance, that invites you to take a moment of rest during your stay in that busy town. Good breakfast and helpful service. The building is a little bit noisy, not from outside, but you can hear the other guests. We didn't have any reason to complain. The guesthouse will mainly attract quiet people.
