The Malagueta beach,which was given the blue flag by the European Union , is just a 10 minutes walk away, and 5 minutes to Calle Larios,the main shopping street.
There are plenty of restaurants, bars and clubs around.
During the Semana Santa you can see the major parades from the balconys

There is not air conditioning in the hostal. We stayed there for only one night in the summer, which was too hot, but during the night it was OK. The staff was really helpful and explained us everything.
