In 1998, Cumhur "Jimmy" Gorgulu established "Artemis Guest House - Jimmy's Place", which quickly gained fame among independent travellers for its staff and excellence of service & facilities.

In 2004, we took a second building to meet demand. In Jan 2005, WE MOVED to a great new building – better than ever! (see 2005 "Lonely Planet Turkey")
