Hi my name is David and i am from england , i stayed at the tiger paw hostel for 7 days from 23/10/09 - 30/10/09 and i really liked my stay here and when i return to medellin i will always stay here.
The staff are very friendly helpful they speak english , the facilities are good the pool table the tv room where you can play video games and also watch sports, it has a nice bar and the drinks are not expensive.

We are in a brand-new completely remodeled building with new bathrooms and bedrooms.

We are the closest hostel to Parque Lleras (Zona Rosa) which is the center of the night life in Medellin.

We have a beautiful bar, hot water all day, DVD library / TV room with USA cable programming, XBOX 360, deluxe 2 meter long compartmentalized (for privacy) bunk beds with reading lights and power outlets, 24 hour security and lockers with personal key, bilingual staff, pool table, international phone calling, free WiFi and computer for internet use, and a sensational roof top deck with spectacular views. We have information cards with complete, easy-to-follow directions for our favorite 15 or so tourist spots.

We have a put a lot of thought, money, and energy into every detail to make this the best hostel possible.

We are also the ONLY full licensed youth hostel in Medellin and are registered with the Medellin Tourism Board.

We are also American owned and operated with years of experience living and working in Medellin. Come check us out!

The reason why i like this hostel very much is because it is situated in a great area is very safe its near restarants shops banks clubs and the zona rosa area.
I will always recommend travellers and friends to stay at this hostel.
