I arrived alone at the hotel, the receptionists were helpful until my Egyptian husband arrived, from that point on they were less friendly.
The hotel is situated between the Steigenberger and Sonesta. The Sonesta was having an Egyptian night which would end at 10pm, finally it ended at 12 pm.
The furniture in the room is of poor quality, used, outlived.
The choice of foods for breakfast is very poor as was the service at the table.
Hotel good for short stay or last minute booking.

Lotus Hotel has a unique location in the heart of Luxor.

We have 58 rooms and suites all with balcony or terrace overlooking the Nile (40 double rooms and 10 royal suites and 8 triple). All rooms consist of a double bed, air-conditioning, telephone, cable TV, music channel, minibar, smoke alarm, private shower, bathtub and WC.

In the hotel we have a very nice restaurant where you can enjoy your breakfast and dinner,restaurant capacity of up to 150 guests. The hotel offers a variety of services and facilities including an outdoor heated swimming pool, gym ,24hr room service and .

Guests can enjoy a wonderful view of the mighty Nile in addition to the cliffs of the Ban Mountains on the western bank.

As well, custom made tours can be arranged through Lotus to:

West&East bank of luxor, Cairo,Alexandria, Aswan, Western Desert, Sinai (Red Sea) and more.
