A very tired set up. No Internet at all. A bit further out than other hostels and the staff argued amongst themselves a lot.

this is the only youth hostel we found on internet. it is value-for-money. Though, don't compare with those you found in Santiago. Afterall, everything is expensive on this island. But worth it.
BTW, the guy who runs this hostel gave us a quite city tour and showed us where supermarket/bank/cafe are. which is helpful.
