Hostel Emmy was renovated at the end of 2008. We have a safe, clean and cheap hostel right in the center of Milan. Well connected with all the main transport and surrounded by markets, restaurants and facilities that you need. Our friendly staff will be pleased in help you all the time and make sure you will have a good journey! We also offer free breakfast between 8:30 - 10 a.m. as a compliment from hostel Emmy to our guests.
Hostel Emmy is close to all the points of interest of the city, the Stadium and the Fieramilano-City are also easily accessible both from the highway A-8 by car and from the hostel by subway. We are close to the subway 'Gambara' stop red line M1, at 30 meters by foot. The excellent position allows you to reach important places of the city in few minutes. Malpensa Orio al Serio and Linate Airport are easy connected to the hostel area.
Check in: 13:00 until 22.00 if you arrive earlier you can leave the baggage but the room will be available starting at 13:00.

Payment on cash on arrival.
BREAKFAST IS FREE ONLY FOR RESERVATIONS OVER 15 EURO PER NIGHT.
FOR EACH PRIVATE ROOM A DEPOSIT WILL BE REQUIRED.

No aconsejo este hostel a nadie, nosotros nos perdimos por milan y cuando quisimos llegar nos dijo el chico que nos habia llamado, la llamada nunca la vimos relejada en el movil. Total que ademas de ser deamsiado caro resulto que a media noche nos cambio de hotel porque no se esperaba que fueramos 5 personas, fijate: reservamos una habitacion doble y una triple. Seguro que hay mejores cosas por Milan.
We had terrible problems with that hostel!!
At first I didnt recieve any confirmation when I asked directly at hotel email!!No response after 4 emails!!
When we arrived we almost didnt find it(there was realy small table outside the building pointing that hostel should be there).
When we finaly get in we met some arabian people who didnt speak english at all(later found out those are owners!)
They wasnt able to explain us anything in english.Then they told us(I dont know how we managed to understand each other) that they cancled our confirmation!! Without noticing us!!
Then the guy who was sitting at reception showed me some emails what he probably meant to be information emails about cancelation and we found out he terribly messed up my email so than it was clear that we couldnt find out that our reservation is not valid.
At the end some other couple arrived there and they had same problem as us.They cancled their reservation without noticing.
So I realy DO NOT RECOMMEND this hostel.

The hotel is on the 4th en 5th floor. The badroom is old and dirty. And there is no hot water in the morgen for showers. The staff is really nice and sweet!!! No facilities either.

A hostel in an old house, 4th floor, 98 steps! There was an elevator but we did not use it - we found it better taking the stairs with our luggage. One man working there was very kind and nice, the other not that nice. Sometimes there is a problem with guest having party in their rooms - the other way round for us; we had to tell the staff in the middle of the night not to have so much noice during their party! Actually they also had taken the TV from our room during the day for their own use during their party night. - The summary of our staying at Milan Hostel Emmy is that we were happy to have a room to sleep in, but we are never coming back to that place.
