Acerca de Residenza Valier
Ubicada en un antiguo e histórico palacio veneciano del siglo XV, en pleno centro, a tan sólo 3 minutos a pie del Puente Rialto y el mercado con todos sus pequeños cafés y bares para pasar las veladas. Recientemente hemos abierto habitaciones con baño privado y un rincón de cocina privada a petición (se cargará una tarifa adicional de 10 euros por estancia por el uso y para la limpieza final en caso de querer acceder a este rincón de cocina). Las habitaciones cuentan con calefacción y aire acondicionado, secador de pelo, conexión Wi-Fi y portátil privado, estéreo, TV de plasma y despertador. El desayuno no está incluido en el precio y cuesta 10 euros por persona y día; es una fantástica forma de empezar el día e incluye cruasanes italianos calentitos, yogur, zumo, queso, jamón, capuchino casero, té, café e incluso fruta fresca, y te lo serviremos en la habitación a la hora que mejor te convenga siempre y cuando sea antes de las 11.00. Al llegar tienes que prestar atención, nos encontramos frente a la entrada de la iglesia de San Silvestre en el número 1022; hay que llamar al timbre:

This is a perfect place to stay in Venice and only 3 minutes walking to the Rialto Bridge. It is a private place, apartment style, with two bedrooms. We stayed there for 3 nights with a family of 5 people. There is one bathroom and a small (well equiped) kitchen. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They served us a good breakfast: croissants, bread rolls, jam, honey, nutella, juice and tea/coffee. The rooms are spacious, with good beds, TV, radioset (I-pod), big wardrobe, desk, chairs, mirror. One of the rooms even has a fridge. It is only one minute walking to the nearest boatstop, S. Silvestro (line 1). The same line also brings you to San Marco or the train/bus station in about 20 minutes. There are a lot of restaurants and shops very close to the apartment. We would definitely recommend this apartment if you are going to Venice, especially if you are with a family or two couples (using both rooms).

Good location - we walked most places but the San Silvestro Vaparetto (ferry boat) station is very close, Rialto a little further if you prefer public transport to walking.
Some noise from bar/restaurant on street below but acceptable. Very clean. Good bed. A few mosquitoes easliy fixed with a bit of fly spray purchased from local supermarket. I suggested that each room should have a can. AE (60..ish) - Australia.

The property is well-situated, steps from a Vaporetto stop and the Rialto, but still somehow away from the crowds of tourists who throng to Venice in the summer. Our host and his wife were very accomodating and helpful, and their super breakfast--delivered to your room!--truly was a great start to the day. The room is very comfortably-sized, with great amenities like a flat-screen TV (to catch up on Italian soap operas), a kitchenette, and a well-appointed bathroom. Great faucets! I highly recommend Residenza Valier and I would DEFINITELY stay there whenever I visit Venice again.
