Like Hazelton, I had an amazing experience at the Paris Hotel Le Mediterraneen. Although there wasn´t an elevator and the hotel is a bit out of the way, this was an excellent hotel. The woman at the front desk, Djamila, was amazingly helpful. She made our stay in Paris so much easier and more enjoyable. She recommended places to visit, where to eat and was always available to answer questions.
I highly recommend staying here if you visit Paris

We are not only close to the business and sports centers of Bercy,Opera Bastille and the French National Library,but also particularly well served by the public transportation.By the RER A our guest can travel directly to Opera,Etoile(arc de Triomphe)and Disneyland Paris in a couple of minutes.our guest can easily reach Gare du Nord Station,where arrives the Eurostar & thalys by RER D direct link from the hotel.

The woman at the front desk, Djamila, was incredibly helpful when I stayed here. She showed us how to navigate the Metro, good places to visit, and wrote out types of medicine to pick up when our friend got a cold. We didn't speak any French, so we were glad that she spoke English. She also arranged for a taxi to get us to the bus station on time, since the metro stops running at 1am. The hotel is near Gare de Lyon for easy metro access. Free WiFi, good security, no curfew, breakfast available for a little extra.
