Situated on the Sligo / Roscommon border Arrowrock Hostel stands on the shores of Lough Arrow, an area of conversation and great natural beauty, rich in archaeological remains (Lough is Gaelic for Lake).

Arrowrock Hostel is a former hotel offering great rooms, cosy common areas, beautiful dinning room overlooking the lake, large self catering kitchen, BBQ area, garden and our own lake shore pier.

Why not visit us and experience the history, archeology, the myths and legends and the spectacular scenery in this region.

Take in The Labby Driving & Walking Tour, a circuit of the lake and it\'s surroundings, from Carrowkeel Megalithic Site (over 5,000 yrs old) to the plains of The Battle of Moytura, other well known sites on the tour include Heapstown Cairn, Labby Rock, Ballindoon Abbey, Lough Key and the Curlews Mountains and much more, sections of the Arigna Miner\'s Way and Historical Trail (a 143 km marked national walking route) are included in this tour. This walking route passes within 1km of Arrowrock Hostel from where you can walk or cycle as much or as little as you please, visit our own web site for more details.

No car ? ………. No problem !!

We can collect you from Boyle, Co. Roscommon at either the Train Station or Bus Stop (next to the Boyle Tourist Office). Collection is available afternoons only but you must phone or email the day before to arrange pick up. Due to rising fuel costs a nominal charge of € 5 each way applies, this just covers fuel cost, (each pick up or drop back involves a 24km round trip). This charge is per trip, not per person.
