Arenal Backpackers Resort is the 5-star hostel of Costa Rica. This beautiful hostel/resort has a spectacular view of the Arenal Volcano, and is just a few minutes walk from the town centre and bus stop. The open setting of the hostel also makes it the perfect place for meeting fellow travelers.

We can also arrange any tour or transfer that you want, with discounted prices. We know that we can get you great deals, because we're a large hostel with a constant flow of guests, and our 5-star service means that we will go out of our way to help you with whatever you need.

TENTS:

We have a brand new deluxe camping area! This area is covered and each tent has a double mattress, lighting, power sockets and an outside locker room. IMPORTANT: To reserve a tent for 1 or 2 people, please put 'number of guests' as 1.

Private rooms:

- To reserve a private room, please go to Hostel Pangea in San Jose to pay in advance (email us for more information).

- All private rooms have: Flat screen TV with cable, 2 Double Beds, A/C, Lockers, Towels, Private bathrooms with hot water, New thick mattresses, pillows and linen

IMPORTANT: Sometimes the internet reservation system shows us as fully booked, when in fact, we have space available. If you have a problem reserving online, do not worry, just send us an email. We hold reservations until 4pm. If you expect to arrive after 4pm, please email us and we will try to think of a solution. arenalhostel@yahoo.com

Hostel conditions:

We will not charge your card in case of a no show, just please let us know if you are not coming. Also, we hold reservations until 4pm - we cannot guarantee your reservation if you arrive after that time.

No children under 14 years in the dorms.

All reservations must be made at least 24hours in advance.
