Comfort and a warm welcome is our priority at the Aylesbray Lodge. Our 4-Star rated family-run Guest House has built its reputation on cleanliness and high standards of decoration. We have ensuite rooms that are individually decorated with colour televisions showing a satellite channel, tea and coffee making facilities with complimentary extras, direct dial phones with radio alarm, free wireless Internet access and hairdryers.

At Aylesbray Lodge we don't believe in short measures and our hearty breakfast should set any visitor ready for the day to view this fine university city. Cambridge is renowned for its beautiful colleges and quaint back street shops. A summer punt on the river Cam would truly finalise a memorable experience.

We are very proud of our ability to make a special occasion even more memorable by adding a personal touch. For a small charge, we are happy to provide chilled champagne on arrival or decorate your room with flowers, balloons or banners.

By train

Getting to and from London is straightforward. Direct trains to Liverpool Street and Kings Cross are frequent from Cambridge and take about 1 hour. It is also simple to get to and from Stansted Airport.

There are some direct trains from Manchester and Birmingham; these are cross country and can be slow. From the north, you will need to change at Peterborough and probably Ely.
