The Keylany Hotel is a clean, comfortable and quiet 1 star hotel in downtown Aswan near the banks of the Nile River.
The friendly and helpful reception staff are always available to help you with arranging tours, making travel bookings and international telephone calls and faxes.The hotel has a business centre with internet access, a photocopier and international direct dial telephone and fax. A laundry service and 24 hour room service is available.
All rooms are fully air-conditioned. Most rooms have private bathroom although there are some rooms with shared facilities. There is an onsite restaurant and a roof top garden where you can enjoy your complimentary breakfast. Breakfast includes fresh seasonal juice, tea or fresh Colombian filter coffee, pancakes, toasted bread, jam, honey, cheese, butter.

•• be sure before you put your reservation of the date that you are arriving in because changing the date is not possible for us the only way is to go to the website where you made your reservation and cancel your old reservation (in that case you will lose your down payment) and will have to repay for your new reservation .
•• after you make your own Web Reservations Confirmed Booking you will get a Ref. number , we do not send reconfirmation after your get htis number, because it means your reservation is already on our database .we will be waiting for your arrival.
• Breakfast contains (fresh seasonal juice, tea or real fresh Colombian filter coffee, fruit salad pancakes, toasted bread, jam, honey, cheese, butter, pancakes )
This breakfast only served at the hotel ,but the takeaway breakfast is slightly different.
•Check in after 11:59am , Check out before 11:00am
Checking in earlier starting from 8:00 am is possible in case the previous guest already checked out and the room is already cleaned and this free of charge .
• As a hotel policy we do not confirm reservations without down payment , we cannot charge or get paid for the room based on an e-mail address or a phone call when we block the room because it had been reserved to a customer and then for some reason (and this happen with at least %40 from the customers who try to book by phone or e-mail) they change their plans and do not show whatever the reason is .The room will be closed and we cannot sale it for others
Pickups:
Train station and Bus station :we do not pickup from both .
Airport:- pick up is 60 Egyptian pound for 1 or2 persons in private car , one way
Feluccas :
We do not make or organize Feluccas trips any more, if you still to do it, it is on your own responsibility…

We are a family traveling in Egypt from South Africa. We booked Keylany on line and they added an extra bed for minimal charge.
Being a budget hotel, don't be put off by the look from the outside - the facilities are basic but sufficient. The rooms are clean and serviced every day.
The hotel has a roof top dining/lounging area with a small swimming pool (which we did not use as it was too cold) and they provide a good breakfast including fruit and bread.
The Hotel is centrally positioned close to the Nile and the market and they can arrange various tours (they use an external agent for this). We took a day trip to Abu Simbal for which was provided a comfortable minivan. Decided against his offer of a Felucca as we had found an excellent alternative of Captain Aly Abbaca (look him up on google) who, although a little more expensive provided great food and great company.
The computers and pool table are kept in a very dusty basement (lost a star there on cleanliness) but the rest of the hotel is very clean.
The staff at Keylani speak english and are very helpful and they don't hassle you for trips (even the agent had no problems which we chose not to take his offer).
I would definitely recommend this hotel for families or holiday makers trying to stretch their budget.

This hotel is a great deal for the money. Think inside cabin on a cruise ship, the rooms and bathrooms are small and somewhat Spartan, but they are comfortable, very clean, and are in a great location. The staff couldn't have been nicer, and arranged a day trip to Abu Simbel for me at a very reasonable cost. I recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to go to Aswan, to see Aswan, not just to sit in a luxury resort behind walls. I'm very satisfied, and feel like I got a wonderful value for my money.

located very near to the river in central aswan, clean, confortable, and the staff is very nice and helpful. they are very good in arranging excursions.abu simbel trip was very convenient arranged by reception.

We stayed for two days mainly for abu simbel trip. The hotel arranged it at a price of 60 EGP per person which i think is not too bad. They packed the breakfast if we start early and it was good. IF you add 10 EGP to the above price they also take you on a tour to philae temple, high dam and unfinished obelisk. But high dam and unfinished obelisk is not worth the entrance as it had nothing to see much. Hotel was clean among all the other hotels we stayed in Egypt and staff are very helpful and friendly. Definitely would recommend this hotel to anybody.
The Keylany is an excellent budget option for Aswan. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the location is convenient, and the breakfast is great. The staff is also really friendly and helpful. We ended up extending our stay because it was so nice.

The hotel is very well located, next to the main souk. The rooms are very clean and the staff of the hostel are very nice and helpful. They organize many tours to Abu-Simbel and around Egypt and they help you in everything. I will definetely would stay again in this hostel and I would recommend everyone to stay.
