Asian Ruby 3 Hotel - Located in District 1. Perfect location off Le Lai street. Just across the 23/9 park away from Pham Ngu Lao area, so we can walk to all the restaurants and travel agencies, but enjoy peace and quiet away from all the late night tourist commotion.

All spaces cleaned, with new bed linens and towels. First room we were in, no bugs. Second room we were in had a few ants in the bathroom. Toilet has guaranteed "cleaned and disinfected" sash upon check-in.

Great ambience with various light settings and warm decor. Ample seating and table surface areas. Extra large security box that will fit all valuables including laptops and/or travel doc storage. Comes equipped with large flat screen TV, minibar, and free WIFI. Bathroom was fabulous, with 2 working shower heads and extra large tub all separated from toilet. Comfortable seating area in tub for elderly or those with disabilities, with phone in bathroom.

English speaking staff. Assistance with tours, cell phones, other items available. There was a mixup with reservations, ours was prepaid. When hotel staff realized their mistake they were extremely apologetic. Bellhops are a hit and miss, with one either very helpful or another on the computer while we opened our own doors. No offer of luggage assistance.

Pretty even split of male and female staff. All were professional and appropriate. As far as being lesbian friendly, they insisted on offering us a room with 2 twins even though we requested room with one bed. So the first room we ended up having 2 beds, but the second room they gave us one.
