The former meeting place for pigeon fanciers in the village "Parroquia La Matanza" was transformed into a Bed & Breakfast with the obvious name "Casa La Paloma".

Parroquia La Matanza is situated in the south of the Alicante province, in the region of the Vega Baja de segura, protected behind the ridge of Orihuela. The majority of the local population is dedicated to the growth of lemons, oranges and almonds. There, amidst numerous plantations, lies the Bed & Breakfast "Casa La Paloma".
