This is probably the worst hostel I've ever stayed in Europe. The hostel itself(corridors,stairs and the room) is acceptable - you get what you pay for. However, the state of the toilets and shower is probably from the 18th century....which means that toilets are in so called "Turkish toilet" - no toilet seat, only hole in the floor and two spots to step for your feet. Don't expect it clean.

Economic and renovated, the hotel has 72 rooms equipped with shower, toilets and wash-hand basin.
The garden flowers in the medium of the three buildings which constitute the hotel, offers a very beautiful sight and offers a particular and even rare aspect of the Parisian dwellings.
Hipotel Paris Belleville, Hotel Vicq d' Azir, is 'an address of dream for the small budgets' which proposes 'really cheap tariffs for a city like Paris'.
The hotel is really close to the Metro station 'Colonel Fabien' and that enables you to be only a few minutes from major tourist attractions of Paris like: les Champs Elysées, le Sacré Cur, Pigalle et le Père Lachaise.

However, the state of the toilets and shower is probably from the 18th century....which means that toilets are in so called "Turkish toilet" - no toilet seat, only hole in the floor and two spots to step for your feet. Don't expect it clean....If you want to have shower you better make sure that you stay in the middle of shower tray and dont lean on walls and dont step out without flipflops as the whole place is moldy and filthy. My advice... If I have had a chance again I would rather pay more and get something decent....

Good value. Showers could be better -- a bit more place and better control of warmth of water.

Never, ever book this hotel if you value
a) sleep
b) your health
Staff is nice, the "hotel" is a nightmare. You choose.Fancy inhaling some bacteria and possibly even mold? Fancy waking up with red bitemarks around your body? Fancy listening to neighbours conversations (even whispered ones)? Fancy taking a shower somehere where curtains have perhaps never been change?
You really get what you pay for, which is nothing.
good location, near all the shops you want and cheap Lidl supermarket. Cheap for a double. But room was old and a bit smelly. Same for the bathroom, and the staff were not particularly friendly or helpful. just answered questions minimally. They have reservations goin on so maybe they are updating but until then there are definately better options!
