The Skerwink Hostel is situated in the beautiful fishing village of

Trinity East. The hostel is conveniently located 300 meters (less than 5 minutes walk) from the Skerwink Trail. The Skerwink Trail was voted one of the three best trails in Canada and is classed as one of the top ten trails in the world by Travel and Leisure Magazine.

Your hosts are three Aussie sisters who have pulled together our resources of hostel knowledge, from our experiences and those of friends and fellow travellers, to create a hostel for backpackers run by backpackers.

We know that feeling of being in a hostel for two minutes and already feeling as though you've been there your entire life. The Skerwink Hostel is a chill, familiar, and friendly place with lots of hang out areas and communal spaces.

We're the perfect place to visit, whether your excited about taking on the Atlantic in a tiny kayak, or challenging yourself on the beautiful local hikes, or you'd just like to relax, have a cup of tea, and watch an iceberg float by.

After spending a summer here we simply fell in love with Newfoundland, for the ocean, the hills, the wildlife, and the wonderfully warm locals, we invite you to come and fall in love too.
