The location is really good; very close to the Metro station. But the hotel is really hopeless. The Air-conditioner does not work, the toilet door does not close, Hot water in the bath is irregular. In fact, there isnt even a towel rack or a hook inside the toilet. Probably, we should have hung the towels around our shoulders while showering!! Also, no exhaust in the toilet. Add to that, even the Milk got over before all guests finished their breakfast.

Hotel Fivos está situado en el corazon de Atenas que le hace una base perfecta para explorar esta ciudad extraordinaria.
Es muy facil llegar, el Metro de Monastiraki está a slo 50 metros del albergue. Hay buenos lazos de transporte con el aeropuerto, el puerto de Pireas y desde luego, los numerosos sitios de interes historico y cultural.
Un breve camino le lleva a las zonas de Monastiraki y Plaka, donde encuentrá mercados, una variedad de tiendas, cafeterías y restaurantes al aire libre.
Los que quieren disfrutar de la vida nocturna de Atenas, pueden visitar Psirri que queda muy cerca.
Salga del albergue por la tarde y a su derecha tendrá la vista imponente de la meravillosa Acropolis, iluminada contra el cielo nocturno.
El albergue tiene una atmosfera amable con peronal que habla ingles a disposición 24 horas al día.
Todas las habitaciones son limpios y comodos con baño propio. Pueden ACCOMODAR hasta 4 personas.
El desayuno se toma en el salon / comedor, donde se puede descansar y ver T.V.
Además podemos ayudar con cualquier otro preparativo de viaje necesario (visitas, excursiones a las islas, viaje internacional) mediante nuestra agencias de viajes.
Quedamos a la espera de darles la bienvenida a Grecia y Atenas.
Bocato y bebidas tambien Disponibles en el bar. Habitaciones disponen de aire acondicionado el verano y calefacción central en invierno.
Sitios: Acropolis, Montes de Lycabetus y Philoppappus, templo de Hephaestus. Mercado antiguo de Monastiraki, zona de Psirri (vida nocturna).

Also, the staff was very uncooperative and uncaring. They did not even agree to hold our luggage for a couple of hours between our check-out time and our flight, without paying for it. In fact, they said that we were no longer their guests since we had checked out (and after we stayed there for 3 nights).
Would not recommend this place to anybody for the sheer attitude of the staff....

The only positive thing in this hotel was the location, the air-conditioning and the fridge. It hasn´t got lift, the breakfast is not enough (the breakfast has the ingredients for a salad, but you hasn't nothing to dress it) and the rooms are very old (sheets and beds included) and they only clean after your stay.

We found it was very cheap for the quality of the room: the room was nice, the only problem for us was that there wasn't any window, just a little one in the bathroom
but we were very well settle in general, and the staff was very very nice, and gives us some good information about what to visit in athens !
we will keep a good souvenir of Hotel Fivos !

Hotel Fivos is located in the heart of Athens in the popular area of Monastiraki, just 40 metres from Monastiraki metro station and a few minutes walk from almost all the ancient sites of Athens.
The rooms have en-suite bathrooms and can offer a wake up call and taxi service for those early morning flights! As of February 2004 all rooms were equipped with air-conditioning and heating!
Recently renovated and located within walking distance to Monastiraki flea market and ancient Agora (ancient market place;) you can also see a view of Acropolis!

Indicaciones
Cojen el tren del aeropuerto directamente aqui. El albergue esta situada en la misma calle que la parada de Metro Monastiraki, Athinas numero 23. Por otra parte hay el qutobus E95. Bajense en la ultima parada, plaza Syntagma. De ahi es solo una parada de metro linea azul. Tambien se llega con el bus E94, ultima parada Ethniki Amyna y el metro otra vez.
