102 years ago this building was the biggest toy store in Budapest and 40 years ago it accommodated the best-known rock club in the communist block. The newly designed and fitted BAZAR Hostel with its 11 rooms now occupies part of this historic building situated close to all the best bars and clubs.

In our spacious kitchen you can eat communally and in the spacious main lobby you can relax on comfortable couches and plan your night like a 22nd century Sultan.

Along with its unique design, the hostel boasts rooms that are extremely comfortable, some including ensuite bathrooms too.

Our staff are well travelled and culturally informed. Musicians, organizers and bar staff will tell you where to find the hidden secrets of the city, and if you want it, within one night they'll turn you into a virtual inhabitant of Budapest.

Fantastic, clean, extremely friendly. Great kitchen with everything (oven, microwave, cooktop and all utensils) also has a freezer and fridge :D

the staff where great, you could ask them anything and they would be happy to help. They even organized a folk concert for members and invited us out for drinks etc.

It was a great hostel, we had a brand new room and the service was perfect.

The hostel is a vibrant part of town, pretty close to all the party places and the staff of the hotel was always capable of telling us where there was a party that night.

it was clean and the rooms were quite.

It was everything me and my friends expect a hostel to be.
