Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE): Approximate driving time to Piazzale Roma (Venice bus station) is 25 minutes and distance is 14 kilometres (8.5 miles). From Piazzale Roma to Hotel Alla Fava (Rialto stop) by Vaporetto in 12min.

Getting there: ATVO operates a fast bus service to Piazzale Roma in the centre of Venice departing every 30 minutes. A single ticket costs €3 and the journey takes 20 minutes. ACTV bus number 5 also runs to Piazzale Roma and bus 15 connects the airport with Venice-Mestre train station. From Piazzale Roma transfer to ‘vaporetto’ water buses connecting to Rialto or San Marco. The airport terminal is connected with the airport jetty where regular Alilaguna boat services depart for the city. A single ticket costs €12. Private water taxis are also available but cost approximately €90 to the hotel. All prices subject to change
