The Riverhouse Hotel is a family run hotel, situated in the heart of the infamous lively Temple Bar area, in the city centre of Dublin and enjoys the surroundings of a great variety of shops, galleries, pubs, restaurants and cafes.
All bedrooms are en suite with tea/coffee making facilities, TV/Radio and direct dial telephone. All triple rooms have 2 beds (single & double -extra charge for third bed Eur30.00, payable direct)and Quad rooms have single bed, double bed and rollaway.
Temple Bar, also known as Dublin's left bank, is only a short stroll from Dublin's well known shopping areas such as Grafton Street, O'Connell Street and Henry Street, while cultural delights such as Trinity College, Dublin Castle and Christchurch are just around the corner from the Hotel. In this vibrant and compact city there are endless ways to spend your days in the Capital.
Chic bars, restaurants, new exhibitions and trendy shops are all to be found in close proximity to the hotel. It is ideally situated for access to all the well known Dublin attractions.

For staying in the heart of the Temple district this is an ideal Hotel. The staff are very polite and helpful. As advertised it is in the heart of the Temple Bar district, and as a result there is lots of noise through until 5am at weekends.

The Staff were friendly and very helpful. Excellent breakfast ! Only negative thing was loud music, and noise from chatting individuals coming from Mezz bar into early hours of the morning (3am).
I asked to change rooms to quieter one at the back of the hotel and this made a difference to getting a good night's rest.
Overall the hotel is great value for money and ideal for exploring Dublin city attractions.

Rooms needing work done to them, very run down and not as clean as would have liked.
Great location and friendly staff however.
Suppose can't complain as we did get a very cheap deal.
Wouldn't go back to this hotel however.
This hotel is excellent Value in the centre of the Capital city of Ireland i have no quams about recommending all about this property friendy & competent staff, neat rooms but alittle dated decor & bedding but without doubt a gem for a short city centre stay at a great price 100% to all involved Thanks J Donegal

Decent rooms, great breakfast, wonderfullly cheap. Smoking rooms available. Helpful staff. Best centrally-placed hotel of the many I have tried.

Bed and room is very small. Matraze is very old and not very comfortable.
Wake up service does not work...(big problem if you need it!!)
