Il Palagetto was a roman post station of Caio Curzio (who was a councillor to Julius Ceasar) who gives the name to the village Cozzano where travellers could rest along their way through the lonely ancient towns.Thanks to the sympathetic renovation in keeping of the style and the original materials, with stone Ceilings in cotto tiles and solid chestnut beams. The two country houses have 3 star rating, these charming hotels cater for the comforts of the contemporary traveller.The hotel has 23 bedrooms, catering for four, three or two with double-beds and single rooms. The large bedrooms finely furnished in Tuscan style, have air-conditioning, mini-bar, satellite tv, hair dryers, some with whirlpool system, independent entrance and terrace.Particular attention has been paid to the layout of the spacious bathrooms, with hand made decoration. 6 rooms contain air pool shower boxes and 3 rooms have hydro-massage bathtubs.Two rooms are fully equipped for disabled people with access via the ground level.The lounge, bar, tv/ area and restaurant Il Cherubino are situated in the heart of the main building.
