The hostel is beautifully located in an ancient, refurbished grain store on Guidecca Island in the heart of Venice.

Palladian churches, the Doge's Palace, the Bridge of Sighs and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection are all within easy reach.

The Youth Hostel has 260 beds and facilities include common rooms, tourist information, luggage storage for members, and lockers.

We have mixed dorms or females dorms, common bathrooms on the floor.

If you are not a Member of Hostelling International there is an extra charge of €3 per person per night. Once you have stayed 6 nights at a HI Hostel you become a HI member, and no extra charges apply for future stays for one year and remember that this Card could be used in 120 hostels in Italy and in thousands of hostels around the world!

If you're resident in Italy or italian you can have the card for 3,00 euro (during one year from the date of issue)

The Venice Youth Hostel is located in the Giudecca Island at Fondamenta Zitelle number 86

How to get there :

Once you get to Venice city centre, either at the railway station "Santa Lucia" or at the bus station "Piazzale Roma" catch the boat (vaporetto) number 4.1 or 4.2 or 2 and stop at Zitelle.

From there it is extremely easy to go anywhere in Venice. It takes just 5 minutes by boat to get to S.Marco Square.
