x The average starting price for a place to stay in Helsinki is £79 per night.
catheri8 Hotel Anna is a pleasant and well located hotel to visit Helsinki. The area is quiet and very pleasant too. The hotel staff has been very efficient and helpful. Bathroom facilities and equipment could be somehow improved. On the whole it is good value for money and I would definitely recommend Hotel Anna to other travellers.
anais.baud The hostel is nice but the women's bathroom is flooded by the shower… it becomes a real padding pool !
franku pleasant stay with an efficient airport shuttle - just remember to let the driver know which terminal you need to be dropped off at!
susanne.sc Friendly, clean, extraordinary price<----> value-relation I can recommend espec. the single appartments including fridge and kitchenette
stanka I cannot compare with other hotels in Helsinki, but this one is in the central part of the city, 1 min from the big Stockmann center where you can buy almost everything. My room was next to the reception so I could here almost everything that was going on. However, during nights it was quiet. The room was clean, but bathroom seems very old. Hot water was available during the nights so I could warm up whenever I like. Bed was clean and bedding is comfortable. They do not change bedding during your stay (for 1 week), only towels. I find this hotel OK for this price and if I go to this city again I would probably choose the same hotel. Yes, there is a little TV with only Finn programs. However, moves are not synchronized as in France or Germany so they can be watched. The average temperature in the room was 20 deg C. Outside -10 deg.

Sander Decent hostel as far as European big city hostels go. The location isn't the most convenient, but also not terribly bad. My biggest gripe with this place are the showers, which run for barely 10 seconds before you have to press the water button again (which gets old really fast!). The showers also lack a good place to hang your clothes or towel (there's no private changing cabin or anything; just a few hooks scattered throughout the larger bathroom). Rooms are clean though, staff is friendly and helpful, and if you stay for four nights or more, they have this package deal with cheaper nights that include free breakfast, which makes for decent value.
