Conditions

The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.

Please note you will have to pay in cash upon arrival as we do not accept credit cards, ATM's and banks are a short walk away.

Please note that your full balance due is payable on arrival and non-refundable.

We do not accept MULTIPLE group bookings of 6 people or more.

Bookings made under different names for more than 5 persons will be cancelled !

Prices do not include the 5% tourist tax.

Please note that 5% tourist tax needs to be paid on the top of the balance on arrival.

If you are more than one hour late with out advising the hostel it will be presumed that you are not arriving.

Cancellation must occur by e-mail and 72 hours before the check-in date.

You booking is not cancelled if you don't receive a confirmation!

Please send a request for such a confirmation, if you don't receive one.

Please note that we accept cash only for payment on arrival.

Upon arrival you will be asked to pay the full amount for the whole duration of your stay.

On or after arrival it is not possible to cancel your booking or part of your booking.

If you decide to check out earlier we can't refund the remainig days.

No refunds due to cancellations on arrival and you will loose your bed(s) for remaining days!

In case of a booking for more than 1 person, you should be aware that booker is responsible for the total amount payable upon arrival.

This means that in case one of your friends doesn't come along or doesn't arrive, you will have to pay the full amount for all days and loose the bed for the remaining day(s).

When one does not pay the total amount on arrival, we will charge the credit card of the booker for the total amount plus any additional costs requested by the credit card company.

All nights of accommodation must be paid for on arrival or no later than 21:00 hours.

It is not allowed to bring visitors to the hostel! Please respect this rule as we will ask you to leave our hostel when breaking this rule.

In case of damage, misbehavior or other costs that are a result of actions of a guest or guests, we will be forced to charge your credit card for full amount.

The booker is fully responsible for all persons that are part of the booking.

Our hostel is also the permanent residence of Simba, the house cat. Any guest who may be allergic to cats should be mindful of this before booking their stay with us here at Amsterdam Hostel Cosmos .

The Cosmos Hotel request that all customers confirm their booking one day in advance of arrival.

In case of a No-show or cancellations after 72 hours before arrival date, your credit card is charged for the 1st night of your stay, the rest of that booking will be cancelled.

On holidays we require a minimum stay of certain days and we have a different policy concerning cancellations or changes!

To preserve and maintain our laid-back & smooth atmosphere we do not allow: Persons under 18 years of age or above 35, pets, any bookings of stag nights, hen nights or sport tours, soccer fans for (inter)national matches and large groups of males ( 6 persons or more). Read the above carefully because in the event of a false booking, there will be no check in nor will there be a refund.

We make every effort to accommodate you in the dormitory size of your choice. However, because of the nature of our business, we may have to place you in a different sized dormitory. As a result the balance to be paid upon arrival can be slightly different than what is stated on your confirmation.

After making the reservation you will receive an e-mail with your booking details and confirmation number. Make sure you bring this confirmation with you to the hostel . Otherwise reservation confusion will be at your own responsibility.

If you do not receive this confirmation from us you do not have a booking!

THERE IS MINIMUM STAY OF 4 NIGHTS

All CANCELLATIONS have to be notified to us by e-mail and 2 weeks (14 DAYS BEFORE ARRIVAL DATE) after this period there is a 100% charge of the total cost.

In case of no show, your credit card will be charged 100% of the total cost.

Cancellation and changes during and after arrival date will be charged 100%

We will need (pre) authorization of VISA or MASTERCARD for the total amount.

Once you arrive you can pay in cash and we will not charge the card.
