the place is an excellent location everythin is from walkin distance. the host was super nice to us, food was great, and the room was clean.

Great central location, great hostess who has thought of everything right down to providing umbrellas in each room - but unfortunately some of the other guests were a little greedy with the help-yourself breakfast, leaving us with no bread one day, and a little loud at the table right outside our door. The shared facilities gave it more of a hostel feel.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The owner is lovely and she puts on a great breakfast. She even let us use her internet and her washing machine. The bottom level of the building is a restaurant, the owner lives on the second level and the guest room is on the top level. When you get there, you will need to ring the bell which is on the wall to the right of the restaurant. The owner will call out from above and tell you to walk around the corner as you get into the house from behind the restaurant. She will email you the instructions once you book.
The B&B is also in a great location. Not far from central station. It was about a 20 minute walk to the famous red light district, and only about five minutes to one of the main shopping streets. There are trams just at the end of the street if you dont like walking. There are some bars and restaurants along the street, but it is still amazingly quiet. There are also some great little fashion boutiques along the street. Would definately stay here again if I ever get back to Amsterdam. Thanks Anna for your great hospitality.

We were welcomed and made to feel at home immediately upon our arrival. We had a lovely room facing the street with lots of light! Angela explained the layout of Amsterdam and this helped with our orientation. Breakfast was on a self-serve basis, which suited us as we had to leave very early on our departure. The internet was free, and We received special treats for Queensday! Overall we were very pleased and impressed and would strongly recommend Bethany B&B. Thanks for everything! Paul and Susan

We were a group of 4 college students staying for a long weekend and discussed booking many places before we settled on Bethanys two nights before our departure. We had a wonderful stay, the rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable. The facilities were all ery modern. The wireless internet was great as well. We were all very satisfied when our stay was over and will be reccomending Bethanys to all of our friends traveling to Amsterdam.
