Lying in the extreme of the south of Oman and divided into 9 Wilayts, Salalah is the administrative capital of the Dhofar region, which is a major tourist attraction. Al Balid archeological site is surrounded by water and a massive wall complete with gates and tunnels. Historical attractions include a grand masque, palace, houses and tombs.

NABI AYOUB TOMB:

This tomb is housed in a small building with a distinctive dome and is surrounded by green hills.

WADI DARBAT:

A place of natural beauty with caves, wildlife and lush green vegetarian and wadi is not to be missed by the intrepid traveller.

SUMHURUM:

Excavations at the third millennium port have found coins and manuscripts in Arabic. A small hill overlooking Khor Rori have a place of ‘QUEEN SHEBA”

RAZAT SPRINGS:

This is the natural beauty with caves and a beautiful garden. This area is surrounded by the green mountain.

MUGHSAYL:

Mughsayl boasts over four kilometers of magnificent sandy beach outlined by sculptured cliffs with blow holes formed in the limestone rocks, where plumes of water can reach a height of 30 meters of more.

JARZEEZ SPRINGS:

Jarzeez springs is of the most beautiful springs in the Dhofar region. It is located in Itin, about 14 kms from Salalah. There are caves which can explored and shaded areas for relaxing.

SHANOUT SPRINGS:

Wadi shanout is located in Al-Saada city, about 15 kms from Salalah. The plateau which overlooks the spring is an excellent view point

AUTHOM SPRINGS:

An Authom spring is located in Salalah and is famous for its wide wadi and beautiful waterfall

ANTI GRAVITY POINT:

This is the famous tourist point and must visit this place. This area is famous for ZERO gravity. Just park the vehicle in neutral and release the hand break, the vehicle will be moving automatically.
