pas cher pour chambre avec sdb mais limite au niveau hotel.
sdb et litterie propre mais moquette très sale.
lit 2 personnes très petit.
pas de gel douche, pas de sèche cheveux, 1 serviette/personne qui n'est pas changée tous les jours.
Patron désagréable.
je n'y retournerai pas.

If you are in NYC as a tourist for a few days this is NOT a recommended place to stay. It's off Broadway street but far away from the theatres and all the main attractions. What you get for the money is not good. We were bruised after the first night due to the springs in the bed, really uncomfortable and old. New refurbished hotel did not fit anything we saw. When we arrived the (not very friendly) lady in the reception asked us to take at look at the room to see if it was ok first. I guess that says it all: they are used to complaints.
We had booked for 6 nights but left after the first.

the room is very good and people is quit nice, it is a good place to stay in NY.

Obviously, the hotel description has not been updated for ages - newly renovated - maybe 20 years ago. Rooms nicely furnished - dont think so, and the fact that the only source of light in the room was a bare bulb didnt make things better. The carpet in the corridor had some huge stains, the bed sheets in my room as well. The bathroom dirty and a degree in mechanics is required to work out how to work the shower to avoid either steaming hot or cold water. Kitchen are not equipped with cups or cutlery etc. at all - (according to the manager they stopped doing that 2 years ago to avoid cockroaches - well, these little buddies are there anyway, their little corpses lined up nicely when you go to the basement). The pc in the so called cafeteria (in the basement, think somebody did an excellent job to make it as uncomfortable as possible - heating not working and plastic chairs) has a warning that it is infected with several spyware and viruses and that use is at own risk - definitely simpler than fixing the problem - which seems to be the general attitute in this hotel - there is a big elephant in front of us, but lets pretend its not there. The alternative is wireless, however to get reception you have to sit in the middle of the corridor in the basement, between cafeteria and lift, next to the laundry facillities - or to stand next to the reception - your choice. The 3am wakeup call I ordered for the day of departure did not happen either - thank god I did not rely on the reception staff as otherwise I would have missed my shuttle and flight. Overall, a hotel I dont ever want to go back to.
